Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst

Job Description
Join us as a Senior Infrastructure Analyst and you’ll administer, manage and maintain the hardware and software infrastructure support through optimization and best use of all assets whilst ensuring we continue to develop systems and services to enhance both the user and client experience. You will also be required to collaborate with other teams and undertake various project related tasks, to ensure timely delivery of our technical projects.
Responsibilities
The role is highly dynamic with frequent changes in workloads and priorities so flexibility with working hours is essential, with overtime as and when necessary, and being part of the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.

Your highly motivated, “can do” attitude will help you excel in this role along with your logical and analytical approach to problem solving. You will be service focused and be able to juggle priorities under pressure.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in the administration of a corporate IT environment including server, network, and storage environments.

You’ll have in depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 operating system roles and applications including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange 2013 Hybrid, File and Print services, IIS, WSUS and SQL Server 2014 and related security.

You’ll know about VMware ESXi 6.7 clusters on shared storage, LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity, including firewalls.

You’ll need a broad understanding of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications and have working knowledge of NetApp OnTap 9.8 storage solutions and FortiGate firewalls.

Finally, you will need a UK driving licence and the ability to travel between our two datacentres located in Elland and Stockport when required.
